Waited for so long, feeling excited.... we went to Haadyai. We were 5 cars, 25 of us!!! But we didn't depart together. After we have spent about 2 hrs in the car... OMG! it was very long queue at the Thailand immigration. How? In order not to waste any of our shopping time, we manage to skip the queue by using $$$. He he... After spending about 30 mins, we managed to get our passport and car document stamped. Hungry? Yes, of course. Hooi suggested a place with famous "kuih chiap". We stopped and enjoyed the brunch, really a good suggestion. Everyone left together with satisfaction.
Upon arrival, we straight went to Hotel Novotel Central, checked in at the lobby and finally we got to eat our pork knuckle rice (猪脚饭). Another meal within 1 1/2 hour! Ha.. My goodness, I wonder how we can have such a big stomach capacity.
During the 1 1/2 day trip, it was considered near perfect, ie. nice food and shopping.... however, the accident ended our trip with flaw. We were so unlucky, a car hit our car form behind when we were about to leave the Haadayai town on the second day. The driver was without driving license and car insurance!!! Can you imagine? But fortunately, a third car was involved in the accident. It was the last car.... according to the Thailand's rules and regulations, the very last car will have to bear all the costs, and no police report is needed. This saved a lot of our time, thank God!
We ended our trip @ 10,30pm :)
